AFRICA: EAST- 10 MILLION EFFECTED BY WORST DROUGHT IN 60 YEARS



JESUSCARITASEST.ORG REPORT: Many international aid agencies have confirmed that Eastern Africa is experiencing one its worst droughts in history. 10 million people are in danger. Thousands of Somalis are leaving their country.

High food prices and dry weather lasting over a year are factors causing the emergency. Djibouti, Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, Ethiopia and Uganda are the affected the most from these conditions. Kenyan refugee camps are overflowing by thousands. Some of these countries were already facing difficulties from years of civil war. Now conditions are reaching a drastic peak.
