AFRICA: BURKINA FASO: NEW ORDINATIONS- IMITATING ST. CAMILLUS

Agenzia Fides REPORT - On 6 September in the scholasticate community of "San Camillo" in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, seventeen young postulants and pre-novices entered the novitiate, eight of the Camillian Vice Province and nine of the Camillian Delegation of Benin. According to information sent to Fides, the Superior of the scholasticate, Father Jean Dieudonné Bei, welcomed and entrusted them to Father Denis Kabore, who will be the Novices’ Master. This adventure continues for these young people following Christ in the footsteps of St. Camillus. In the afternoon on the same day, other 17 young people, temporary professed, renewed their commitment for a year to live chastity, poverty, obedience and service to the sick, even if this behavior endangers their lives.
